Andrew Garcia is an HO modeler and member of the La Mesa model railroad club and has been modeling in HO for a number of years. Recently Andrew added a custom-detailed interior to his F7 that includes crew, paperwork, and additional lighting.

The Athearn Genesis A&B set that is featured here was announced by Athearn in September 2019. Andrew loving the already detailed locomotive wanted to give the model life and tell a story as well. Here you can see the crew working the locomotive.

Here you can see the added crew figures and look carefully, the papers seen here are actual crossed-off train orders and schedules. The interior also includes functioning custom lighting as well. Andrew is certainly a talented member of the La Mesa model railroad club and we are sure we’ll see more of his future work featured here again!
