PROTOTYPE SPECIFIC INFORMATION
As railroads retired their fleet of cabooses, they went on to find new life and new purposes. Many ambitious entrepreneurs played off the iconic role of the caboose to craft unique and memorable eateries. As many towns were steeped in railroad tradition, municipalities had interest in preserving their connection to the railroad with many examples serving as tourist information centers and Chambers of Commerce.
The platform and reader board are separate pieces that can be positioned as needed around scenery elements. Lighting elements require an accessory power supply and can be connected with the 2-pin JST connectors, or they can be independently wired and modified to operate on 3VDC.
